63 years could never erase this legacy. April 15th, 1947 Jackie Robinson made his MLB debut with the Brooklyn Dogers (now of Los Angeles). He became the first man of colour to cross the longstanding “color barrier” that existed in MLB up until that point. Baseball is my favorite sport. Baseball is a sport with a long history, and many historical moments have graced the game, just my opinion but April 15h, 1947 might be the most important of those. Take the time to time to read about Jackie over at Wikipedia – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackie_robinson

Late Edit: The Dogers just won in walk off fashion vs the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5:-)

Late Edit: Good video featured on the MLB network http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=8002633
